Ahh, not really

I met this girl at Noida Sec-16 bus-stop (Rajanigandha Chowk, it was late in the evening. She was in a very panicky state of mind, she took the same cab as mine and out of panic asked me" what's the time?". I said "7:30 pm". She said " Its too late, I am coming to Delhi after longtime and it got crazy here"."

I said "First time to Delhi"
She said " No, I am from Delhi only but working at Symphony Services, Bangalore".

I jumped on the Cabs seat and said "Oh my brother worked there for six months"
She didn't give much value to this but then the conversation kept going on.
We both got down at Lajpat Nagar, while walking towards bus stop she asked me "are you married" I said "I am engaged, soon to be married"

She said "Ohh, best of luck"... I thoughtt first not to but then I asked "Are you married?"

She said "No, man, nowhere on the cards". I said "great", and thought sweet dish only comes when the food is finished... so that was the case here. But "I love my wife",- let me put this disclaimer.

Suddenly she asked for my hand to cross this elevated divider on the road. I happily offered it then she said "thanks, and what do you do?"

I said "I am a Technical Writer".... she was like woww.. sounds great, I said "it only sounds great, but I have a blog also and I keep posting there".

"Ohhh wow, me too" was her response. Then standing at bus stop, it was a time to depart, before she said goodbye; I pitched in and gathered courage to ask for her name- "may I know you name please?" (dried throat)

She happily replied "Ritu, it was nice talking to you, see you again"

I said "I am Rohit and I reciprocate the same" gave her one of my PhD smile and she took a rickshaw and slowly disappeared into the Amar Colony.

I searched for her- by name, by office, what not. Even asked my brother to use his network to find out the girl at Symphony Bangalore.

But, I guess that was one great dreamy reality, which is not meant to be repeated.

Not necessarily everyone you meet should be become your girl or boy friend or eventually wife or husband. Some selfless friendships takes us far more deeper into the reality called life.
