Today is the most important day of his life, because he got a first prize for his book about sharks.He should be happy but he is not because his mom doesn’t like sharks.This week his school wants to honor him for his deed and his principal told him to bring his mom with him.He doesn’t know how he will ask about it.Thinking of this he became tired and threw himself on the couch. When he was 4 years old ,his mom took him to the library. There he saw a Shark book,he asked his mom what this humangous thing was? But his mom ignored him and showed him other books like Cat in the Hat and Henry and Mudge, and told him to read these books. Then he picked up the same book again and went to his mom and pointed to the shark and asked “please tell  me what is this?” When she looked at the picture she almost yelled on him ,but she controlled her anger and mumbled ” never ever read or touch these books ever. From that day Joe never talked about sharks with his mom, but he still want to learn about sharks. Even he didn’t know what it was ,he still wanted to learn about sharks. When he was picking boring books according to him. Then he saw David his classmate in the library.His face was sad so David asked him what happened? “Nothing” said Joe. Suddenly he got an idea. “David if you are my best friend could you borrow some shark books for me, I could come to your house to read. But don’t tell it to my mom, David nodded his head. Every-week Joe goes to Davids house, he does more reading and less playing. After 4 years in fourth grade he knew all about the Sharks, but he still learn about them. This is the way he learned more and more about sharks, but his mom didn’t know about it. Today he became a famous auther of shark books. Everyone wants to share his happiness , but he wants to share it with his mom, because he loves her so much and she loves him too, but he didn’t know why she hates sharks. Some one knocked at the door and he got up from the couch, It was David. He congratulates Joe ,but he was not happy. David understood his problem and said that “this is the time to tell the truth. Now you are 18 years old and you can do it. She will be happy to know about your success. Then Joe went to his mom and asked her that “why she don’t like the sharks?” his mom surprised ! Then she told him when she was a little girl she saw with her own eyes that a Shark bite and ate her parent’s. She felt really sad  and she wants him to keep away from Shark.Hearing this Joe started to cry and hugged his mom and now she was also crying.Joe told every thing to his mom , she became happy because her son told her the truth.She forgive him….. And this is the best prize he ever got.
