I never loved football. Not because that I didn’t find it interesting, but because I never understood the game. ‘Quite silly! If you ask me.’ Two teams going on for 90 mins just to kick the ball into a giant net. “90 freaking minutes! Are you kidding me?” In that time I can read through an interesting book, instead! The tactics of running around a ball all over the field like a numb is surely something that is beyond my thinking.
“I will never play this game ….ever!” I quoted with ...

Miranda’s joys knew no bounds as her dad, an experienced sailor, was home after a long period of ten months. What more, he had promised to take Miranda out on his special boat called Olga. Summer holidays were on and she had completed her home tasks. Miranda was excited because she had been feeling bored sitting at home the whole day. Her mum was of not much help as she had her own office to attend to. She hated leaving her little girl at home, but she did not have ...

Rohan, the class 6th curious denizen was a bit of lost figure. Quite an irregular at the school he formed one of those averagely inclined class students. For him studying was a second nature, beside geography and his new found love with science, as a subject. He almost hated all the other subjects. But school being a …well! School, he had to thoroughly concentrate on whatever that was being taught to him in that sixth graders class. Among all the 54 students, he was rather infamous among the teachers and ...

Even though they grew up in the same little place called as their home, Priy and Ruksa never got along with each other very well. These two were the typical neighborly sister’s that one may come across at every nook and into every corner of the city. Being always on the move the twosomes never had a chance to get settled in one particular place for more than a gap of few years. ‘Ruksa’ the little one! Was very much of a dear child towards her father. A major general ...

Little Ryan sat quietly at the window, staring at the falling snow. He loved snow, but today he was sad. Why? It was Christmas Eve, and he was scared that the snow might ruin his Christmas. Ryan was afraid that his older brother Ron would not be able to make it home for Christmas because of the snowstorm.
“What about my special present for him!” Ryan thought. Wonder what it was? Ryan had painted a picture of their garden with his best crayons and wanted to gift it to Ron for ...

Little Rex was bored as he had nothing to do. It was a windy day. The courier guy barely made it to the front door of Rex’s house. When the door opened, his mom Mrs. Gomes took the letter from him, but before she could say, “Thank you”, the letter blew out of the man’s hands, into the house and the door slammed in his face. Mrs. Gomes ran to pick it up.
Rex was watching the windows open and then shut, open and shut. “Mom can I go outside?” he ...
